Main Street Daytona, More Than a Century Ago

    Thanks so much for posting this lovely image! But it's not Main St. Actually, this looks like Beach Street facing north, which was the town's main street. Main Street was/is a east-west street that does not parallel the river.

    I went by what was written on the photo. I suspect he was thinking the generic "main street" as opposed to literal. Thanks so much for the correction, I will make a note on the file.
